Game-Day Fuel Timeline
- Breakfast: eggs + toast, or oatmeal + fruit
- 2–3 hours before: carbs + some protein (rice bowl, turkey sandwich)
- 10–20 min before: banana, applesauce, or a granola bar
- Between periods: same, small
- Within 60 min after: carbs + protein (chocolate milk + PB&J, wrap)
- Dinner: chicken, steak or eggs + rice or potatoes + something colorful
